Forest School is a unique educational experience and process offering children opportunities to succeed, develop confidence and self-esteem through hands-on learning experiences in a woodland environment. Children engage through motivating, achievable tasks, and activities throughout the year and in almost all weathers, with appropriate footwear and clothing. Children will play, learn, work with tools, learn and begin to understand boundaries of behaviour, both physically and socially. Growing in confidence, self- esteem and motivation whilst developing an understanding of the natural world around them.
