Due to the retirement of the current post holder, we are looking for a committed, inspirational and ambitious Headteacher with a proven record of sustained school improvement to lead Donington Cowley Endowed Primary School.

The right candidate will have:

  • A proven track record of ensuring high quality educational outcomes through strategic leadership;
  • A commitment that creates an ethos in which children grow emotionally, socially and academically;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and is able to use these to engage and to

motivate children, staff, parents and the wider community;

  • A clear understanding of what a school needs to do to provide outstanding education for its pupils.

School Bursar– Permanent Post

Donington Cowley Endowed Primary School is a very popular and growing school, with high expectations of success for all.  Our children are well behaved and very keen to learn.  Everyone works together to ensure the very best for each child.  We are seeking to appoint a Bursar with outstanding interpersonal skills to work alongside our Headteacher, Administration Manager and the Governing Body providing strategic, administrative and financial support. The Bursar will promote the vision and values of the school and have responsibility for financial, premises and human resource management as well as showcasing the positive work of the school. The post would suit an experienced School Finance Manager looking for the next step in their career.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has strong administration, financial and budget management skills
  • Is knowledgeable about human resources and able to work in partnership with outside agencies
  • Is committed to ensuring an environment that is attractive, appealing and safe for pupils, staff and the wider school community, incorporating knowledge in Health and Safety
  • Is pro-active and conscientious about enhancing the education of pupils and supporting and promoting the positive work of the school

We are seeking to appoint a dedicated, hard-working and outstanding teacher to join our school within Key Stage 1.

The post would be suitable for a teacher who already has experience within Key Stage 1.  The successful candidate will be ambitious, hard-working and committed to providing the very best learning opportunities for our children.  We enjoy providing a wealth of extra-curricular clubs for children throughout the school and the successful candidate will be happy to share this commitment.  Please state your curricular strengths in your application.
