11/03/2021   Home testing kits for households

Home testing kits for households

From Monday 8 March, people who are in a household, childcare bubble or support bubble with a school or college staff member or pupil will be encouraged to get twice-weekly lateral flow tests.

Those eligible can get a test by:

A secondary PCR test will be required for positive lateral flow tests which are taken at home, either through at home PCR testing or at a local PCR testing site. 

The rapid lateral flow testing service is only for people without symptoms (asymptomatic). Anyone with COVID-19 symptoms should self-isolate immediately and arrange for a PCR test

20/01/2021   Internet Safety Live Stream Event for Parents & Carers

Helping our children use the internet safely has never been more important. To help parents and carers support their children to enjoy all the benefits the online world has to offer, the Lincolnshire Safeguarding Children Partnership and the Stay Safe Partnership would like to invite parents and carers to our first live stream events about online safety on 21st January 2021.

These two live-streamed events will give you information on some of the risks that we teach children in Lincolnshire about and how you can manage their use of technology at home. The sessions will start at 12:20pm and 7:30pm and will be available to view on the LSCP YouTube channel once they have ended.

Communicating with parents is an important part of what we do, making sure you get the correct information about school news, activities and things that really matter is something we care about. 

From Monday 30th November we will be using ParentMail, a service used by over 6,000 schools, nurseries and children’s clubs to communicate to parents.

As you may be aware, schools are required to have a remote (home) learning plan in place so that any child who cannot attend school because of COVID-19 does not miss out on their learning. 09/10/2020   School Uniform

We will continue to sell uniform from school until Friday 16th October 2020.  After this date we will only stock, bookbags, sunhats and wooleen hats.  All other items of uniform can then be purchased from Boston Anorak, Church Road, Haltoft End, Freiston, PE22 ONX Boston -  Tel: 01205 769130.  Parents will be able to order and pay for uniform over the phone and then get the items delivered to school at no extra charge.  Orders can be posted to home addresses; however, this would be subject to a postage charge.
